Maybe ask them too to try the recipe at home and have a potluck in class
ReplyDeleteSeems like eating is the theme for your blog and everything that's in it :). Good choice of website as it is vibrant and definately sends a message that cooking is not just for girls anymore. The lesson is simple and easy to follow. Maybe too simple for advanced students. Add visual art to the worksheet to trigger students' ideas.
ReplyDeletewah! potluck! I like!
ReplyDeleteya la sep.. now your blog title suits your blog contents.
I agree with Syai.
STEP 7: maybe you can ask the students to act it out while explaining.. oh, better if you bring a video camera to record their 'presentation'.. (cam-whore like me sure like it)
wow sep loves to watch cooking show..i think your favourite channel on astro is AFC
ReplyDeletein my opinion, the students can learn sequence connectors too like first, next, after that. then etc
AFC best gak tp my fav is Discovery's Travel and Living. hahaha...
ReplyDeletei believe that this lesson plan is good as it is very authentic. the students do learn sequence connectors using recipes but is in the book and sometimes the recipe might not be correct. so with the exposition towards jamieoliver.com website, the students learn authentically and they can also try the recipes back at home.
ReplyDeletegood lesson plan sep! interesting!
haha eat all u can, sep! potluck is a good one,dr.izaham..have to agree with syai kamar, simple & easy but u can make it more catchy with additional visual arts! overall,good2! :)
